Do you have a child 17 years or younger wanting to play hockey, do gymnastics, dance or go to scouts?
Do you need some help to pay for the classes? You may be eligible to apply for The Community Social Investment Funding Recreation Program to help!
The program can help you pay for the registration fees for your child to participate in recreational or sport activities.
To be eligible, you will be needs tested and may be required to provide and verify income, assets and monthly expenses.
Each child may be eligible for a maximum of $550.00 per year if funds are available. Payments will be made directly to the agency unless proof of payment can be provided.
Recreational activities may include: hockey, skating, swimming, music lessons, tennis, squash, soccer, baseball, scouts, guides, brownies, cubs, dancing lessons, karate, gymnastics, kung fu, etc.
